What To Expect From Tesla Cyber Truck As It Enters The ‘Final Phase’
Tesla always has something interesting in their development pipeline to amaze its audience. Semi-good vehicles and Optimus robots are the two new products in the development pipeline of Tesla, but the audience is most excited about Cyber Truck.
Tesla Cyber Truck was initially unveiled in 2019 since then it faced delays but now the company’s CEO Elon Musk has indicated its production is close to the beginning.
What Makes Tesla Cyber Truck Special?
Tesla Cyber Truck is an electric pickup truck with the speed of a high-end sports car. The skeleton of this truck is nearly indestructible. Every component of this truck including the Ultra-Hard 30X Cold-Rolled steel structure and armor glass has superior strength and high endurance.
Tesla Cyberturck is also made eco-friendly by making its interior totally of paper composite. Another technical advantage of this truck is that it can be controlled with mobile devices and has the best Self-driving Autopilot system.
The CEO of the company Elon Musk tweeted that “ The Cyber Truck will be waterproof enough to serve briefly as a boat, so it can cross rivers, lakes & even seas that aren’t too choppy”. He also added that “be able to get from Starbase to South Padre Island, which requires crossing the channel".
Production and Price of Tesla Cybertruck
Addressing Tesla’s third-quarter profits Elon Musk said that the company was in the “final lap” and production of Cybertruck will start in the middle of next year. The production was initially scheduled for the start of 2021 but it was moved to 2022 due to supply chain issues caused by the covid pandemic and then by the Russia-Ukraine issue.
Tesla executives have claimed that preparations are continuing at the Texas Giga factory. The factory is in the “Tooling phase” which involves the setting up of the assembly line before the commencement of production.
Back in 2019, Mr. Elon Musk said that the price of the truck would be $39,900 with a view of production beginning in 2021. But since then Tesla has raised the prices of its vehicles due to inflation in raw materials and logistics during the Russia-Ukraine issue.
Tesla executives told analysts that demand for cyber trucks is strong in the current quarter and they expect Tesla to be “recession-flexible”
Mr. Musk said that they have more orders for their Cybertruck than they could complete in three years and that’s why Tesla has stopped taking orders on its website for the Cybertruck outside Canada, Mexico, and the US.
