Petrol Price Fluctuations

The fluctuation in petrol prices is due to several factors, including the rising cost of crude oil on the global market and the weakening of the dirham against the US dollar. The UAE government has also decided to reduce subsidies on petrol, which is another factor contributing to the price increase.

5 Tips for Fuel Efficiency

Here are the five most important tips that you can follow to improve your car's fuel efficiency.

  1. Drive smoothly and avoid sudden acceleration and braking: This helps to reduce fuel consumption and emissions.
  2. Keep your tires properly inflated: Underinflated tires have a higher rolling resistance, which can reduce fuel efficiency by up to 3%.
  3. Use cruise control on the highway: This helps to maintain a constant speed, which can improve fuel efficiency.
  4. Turn off your engine when you're stopped: This can save fuel, especially in city traffic.
  5. Get regular tune-ups and oil changes:  A well-maintained vehicle will get better gas mileage.
