PETROL PRICE IN THE UAE | January 2025

The UAE's fuel price committee has released the petrol and diesel prices for January 2025. The UAE Fuel Price Committee has announced that there will be no change in fuel prices for January which are the same as at the end of the year. These rates will be effective starting January 1, and they are as follows:

• Special 95 petrol: 2.50 AED
• Super 98 petrol: 2.61 AED
• E-Plus 91 petrol: 2.43  AED
• Diesel: 2.68 AED

Petrol Price Fluctuations

The fluctuation in petrol prices is due to several factors, including the rising cost of crude oil on the global market and the weakening of the dirham against the US dollar. The UAE government has also decided to reduce subsidies on petrol, which is another factor contributing to the price increase.
