Toyota MotorSports Academy Ignites UAE's Off-Road Scene
Toyota fans in the UAE have something to look forward to in 2023 as Al-Futtaim Toyota announces the launch of the UAE's first-ever Toyota Motorsport Academy. The academy aims to offer the nation's motorsport community the opportunity to improve their skills and become serious contenders in the world of motorsports.
The academy program, which begins on January 28th, is open for admissions, with interested participants invited to submit their applications on the academy's online portal.
Candidates will be assessed and shortlisted for the training program, which includes assessment sessions in driving skills, physical fitness, and media and public appearances.
The assessment sessions for the Recruitment Phase will take place from Saturday, January 28th to Sunday, February 19th.
Skills Development
24 selected applicants will proceed to the Academy's Development Phase, where they will take part in a series of training camps to improve their abilities in each category. The competitors will then face off in the Semi-Finals, where 8 winners will advance to the Final Stage.
The Ultimate Prize
At the end of the Finals, the Toyota UAE Gazoo Racing Ambassador for 2023 will be selected to receive a Toyota Hilux GR S, a high-performance off-road pickup vehicle, to drive for one year. Additionally, the winner will embark on an all-expenses-paid trip to a global racing event where Toyota is competing, as well as an opportunity to participate in the FIA Cross Country Challenge.
