Dubai police are in a bid to provide swift assistance to drivers involved in minor accidents, the Dubai Police has announced a new initiative called 'On The Go,' which offers convenient car repairs right after obtaining a report at a fuel station. The service unveiled in an advisory, even provides eligible motorists with the opportunity to have their vehicle repaired for free.

The 'On The Go' program caters specifically to individuals who have experienced minor accidents or mishaps where the other party remains unidentified. Collaborating with Autopro, a reputable car repair shop located at Enoc stations, the Dubai Police aims to provide an express service to residents of the emirate.

While Enoc stations have long facilitated the acquisition of minor accident reports, this latest initiative takes it a step further by enabling drivers to promptly repair their vehicles after completing the necessary paperwork.

Here's how the 'On The Go' service operates:
Once drivers have obtained their minor accident report at an Enoc station, they are directed to visit the Autopro shop.
The damaged vehicle will then be transported to an authorized workshop for repairs.
Following the completion of repairs, the vehicle will be delivered directly to the driver's residence, ensuring the utmost convenience.

What sets this service apart is the provision of free repairs for certain eligible residents. Seniors, individuals with determination, and pregnant women will benefit from complimentary repairs, easing the financial burden they may face as a result of the accident. For other drivers, the 'On The Go service is still available for a nominal fee of Dh150, representing a cost-effective option for expedited repairs.
