Dubai Civil Defense Puts out Fire in Cars
DUBAI: The Dubai Civil Defense team members successfully extinguished a fire that engulfed 2 cars in the Discovery Gardens on Friday afternoon. The fire was reported at 1.39pm by residents. Three other cars were damaged. No one was injured in the incident.
No causalities and injuries were reported.
The Al Barsha Civil Defense team received an information about a fire incident around 13:38pm and managed to reached the scene within 10 minutes.
The rescue teams started the fire extinguishing operation and the fire was completely doused by 2:14 pm, followed by the cooling operation.
The fire reportedly has destroyed two cars and was also spreading to other cars parked nearby.
The team handled the situation efficiently and stopped the fire from causing more damage, though three cars were mildly damaged.
The case was transferred to the competent authorities and they will further investigate the matter.
