Dubai Announces Free Parking During Eid Al-Adha Holidays

Jun 26, 2023 News & Updates PitStopArabia

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that public parking in Dubai would be free to use for four days as the UAE celebrates the Islamic holiday Eid Al Adha. From Tuesday, June 27, to Friday, June 30, parking fees will not be charged in paid zones, with the exception of multi-level terminals.

The three days of Eid Al Adha (June 28–30) and the Day of Arafah (June 27), which is regarded as the holiest day in Islam, are days with free parking. On Saturday, July 1, fees are due. The longest vacation of the year, a four-day break, will begin on Tuesday for both public and private sector workers to celebrate Eid Al Adha. This represents a six-day relief for individuals who have a Saturday-Sunday weekend. On July 3rd, they will return to work.

RTA Service Timings

The RTA has announced modifications to all of its service hours for the holiday.

Vehicle Testing, Customer Service Centers

On June 30, technical vehicle testing will continue, and on July 1, the halls will reopen.

From June 27 to June 30, all customer satisfaction centers will be closed, with the exception of Al Kifaf. Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, and the RTA headquarters all have smart customer service centers that are open 24/7 as usual.
